Reminiscence

Once upon a

time,

there was a girl.

She was lost

in the world;

in this big,

whirling,

confusing

world.

There was so

much to do,

so much to see.

And expectations.

So many

expectations to

live up to.

The best day of

her life,

by far, was the

day when

she threw up her

hands and

said 'Fuck it' to

everything

that was

expected of her.

At that,

she turned

on her heels

and ran in the

opposite direction;

away from

the pointing fingers,

away from

the workloads

she could not handle.

She ran

straight into the arms

of those who

loved her,

and she never

looked back.
